Server Monitoring
As part of our server management package we actively monitor your virtual server for uptime and connectivity from 4 locations, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Seattle in the US.

Our monitoring services actively monitor your virtual server and any services running, popular services we monitor include HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, POP, SSH and MySQL, however this is only a few of the services that can be monitored.

We also monitor server performance, load, cpu and memory usage to ensure your virtual servers operation is smooth and without issue

Our system provides us with live alerts from our remote monitoring locations and actively notifies us of any issues that may arise, so we can immediately investigate and resolve the issue

O/S Security Updates and Patches
Our O/S Security Updates and Patches service provides a comprehensive Linux and Windows update and Security patch service. General release patches are applied using a customer defined maintenance window. Security updates are typically tested and installed within 24 hours of their release from vendors.
Software/Control Panel Updates and Security Patches

Software/Control Panel Updates and Security Patches service provides a comprehensive update and Security patch service for various software applications and control panels. General release patches are applied using a customer defined maintenance window. Security updates are typically tested and installed within 24 hours of their release from vendors.

We ensure Control Panels, software, server applications and all associated executables are kept up-to-date and secure and will make necessary upgrades as required.

Kernel Updates - Linux Only

Our Kernel Updates service provides a comprehensive Kernel update service. General release updates are applied using a customer defined maintenance window. Custom kernel installs can be arranged as required.

We proactively ensure that the latest secure kernel is used on all servers, and will notify clients when new kernels are available so a maintenance session can be arranged to install the new kernel (as a reboot to the virtual server is required)

Host-Based IDS - Linux Only
Our Host Based IDS solution provides automated, real-time intrusion monitoring, detection, and protection by analysing events, host logs, and inbound and outbound network activity on you server. Host Based IDS helps protect the server by preventing attackers from exploiting the server by connection blocking for unused ports and services, and identification and blocking of Suspicious IP's and users.
Firewall Installation and Maintenance

Our Firewall installation and maintenance service provides a complete software based firewall service for your virtual server which helps prevent serious attacks on your server.

We secure all TCP and UDP ports and configure the firewall to suit the needs of your applications, ensuring that only ports specifically required are open

We perform routine maintenance on the firewall on a regular basis to clean out Blocked IP’s and to ensure that no repeated attacks occur against the server, by identifying the offenders and permanently blocking them from the network.

Anti-Virus Protection

We install anti-virus protection for your server, our Security Support Team will install and configure ClamAV to automatically scan your server and accept virus definition updates as they are issued.

Scanning is performed on a weekly basis across the entire server's content and any potential threats are isolated and dealt with as required.

Security Audit

Application code changes, server updates, software additions and configuration changes can all lead to security problems. We routinely perform a security audit on the server covering the operating system, the kernel (on Linux servers), and all scripts, programs and executables running on the server. We can also perform an on demand Vulnerability Assessment, at the client's request that will alert you to any detected security problems, and will propose changes to resolve them.

Systems Administrative Service - available but not included in monthly fee

As part of the Server Management package, the customer can request additional operating system administrative assistance. This might include requests to help adjust the operating system to match new service requirements, install software, maintain user policies, etc. Requests can be regularly scheduled maintenance or ad hoc requests. These services are charged at our regular hourly rate
